Excitement building
My leg op gets ever closer and excitement levels rise ( with me -not the surgeon ). With the weather ever- improving the hopes of getting out and about rise similarly. I feel like a kid in a sweet shop.

Fitness comes at a price
Aches across my shoulders restricted my endeavours today to a A quick walk and a dose of Manchester City v Arsenal. The price of fitness appears to be sleep. But hey,ho, who cares? The weather was fabulous, birds nesting,, butterflies flying and warm sunshine. My walking was wobbly again today, coupled with a fuzzy head which is so frustrating. When will it go?

Reinforcements
Lynne was joined by our youngest daughter yesterday to " help keep an eye on me", which she did. The additional company I always think ups my mood and I spent the day with Snow Patrol tunes floating round my head, no bad thing. We went to visit Tardis Two and were shocked to find her missing, finally tracking her down to outside the workshops where she was being readied for summer cruising ( awaiting parts). Leaving the marina seems closer than ever, although the weather is distinctly brass monkey. Much against my better judgement I have once again been convinced I need to add swimming to my list of fitness regimes. Watch this space.

Blood test and wobbly moments
My final (?) pre-0p blood test and a wobbly walk through Anstey. My balance fails to improve although my weight seems stable. I really need to walk with someone otherwise I could end-up absolutely anywhere, under a parked car, in piles of dog poo etc. not recommended, but bloody frustrating.

Ins and outs
Stomach problems have restricted my activities this week, capped by one of my famous falls, fortunately with no adverse affects, apart from a bruised shoulder I think. A brighter day today, mood and weather-wise.

Downhill
Following the highs of early in the week my mood plummeted again. We re-visited our relationship ,attempted to get the car radio fixed and return the Red Cross wheel chair.the garage have to order a spare fuse and Red Cross was closed, typical of our Luck.
