Now here is a word I never anticipated using in my blog. A counsellor arrived from a local cancer charity. I'll repeat that. A counsellor arrived from a local cancer charity. The meeting today was to assess at what level and when my help would begin, but it is a positive, if belated, start.

Unstable
Fabulously sunny day but I am unable to enjoy it as I've regressed to my unstable state, which I thought had long gone. My blood pressure is now OK but it appears to be beyond the wit of man to define what causes me to be unstable. With visits to 2 London hospitals next week perhaps they can spot a problem and solution .

On a mission
Following the excitement of paramedics last night this morning was spent seeking medical and counselling help with some hint of progress already.
A non-NHS counsellor is scheduled to visit Saturday and my new diabetic nurse will also visit again in an attempt to sort out my blood sugar readings. I feel like one of the Titanic survivors bobbing about in a dingy .

Zipidy-doo-day
A warm sunny day, perfect for a stroll round the block and getting the bins in ( not that I have to stroll round the block to get the bins in, but it boosts my fitness regime combining the two ).
I watched the first half of the England v Denmark World Cup warm-up match, fell asleep and woke to no-end of excitement. Neighbour George was holding an I v drip whilst a paramedic was feverishly trying to get me back into the real world. A couple of Lucazades, and a cake helped before we all retired for the night. England boringly won 1...0 so I failed to miss anything.

Escape to the country
An opportunity to visit the boat , not to be missed. We need to licence and insure it again, whilst the safety certificate (a sort of MOT )runs till 2017. The old launch excitement is building again.
An in-depth discussion over lunch threw up a few interesting options including living aboard down South whilst I come to terms with my current state. (?). I am not physically unwell, just physcolically so.
Apparently. Once again the lack of counselling leaves a large gap in my treatment regime.

Out of hiding
In the event neither of us had anywhere to go so by default we independently opted to stay home and occupy a floor each. Quiet reflection opened up clearer vistas of the way forward together and mutual respect with us both sleeping peacefully for a pleasant change. Today is bright and sunny in every respect.
Blood pressure checked and remains ok. Today was supposed to be a swim day but a dicky tummy put paid to that and a walk had to suffice. Maybe tomorrow?

No hiding place
The volcano has been bubbling under for some considerable time and an eruption was inevitable, as happened this morning. We have both gone our own ways seeking common ground, if it still exists

Last scan?
A fabulously spring-like day. We shopped at the local farm shop, then moved on to Sainsburys before visiting the hospital scanner for the final time in this sequence. It was a very long and very loud session. I joked a Guns n' Roses concert contained less decibels . They gave me earplugs. I felt like Keith Moon on one his more lucid evenings. Earplugs in, relax and off we went into the Baba O'Reilly intro.
No major hiccups from my swimming adventures , but I feel considerably knackered, something I am doing my best to hide from Lynne.
